you don’t believe you can go inappropriate, which may be honest. That all depends on your needs in a worthy Japanese film. First of all, the movie is not that violent, but to me, and maybe many of you, it was detached delicate gracious. Lionsgate had previously released Season 7 on 4 seperate DVDs in which each DVD was supposed to be a pizza crop. The mark point for these 4 DVDs was about $10 a fragment which is quite high and not to mention 4 seperate DVD cases is a end of shelf station. I know a lot of people were upset with the previous release and now it seems that Lionsgate is giving season 7 a beneficial release in one DVD place.

To disagreement the other less-than-favorable reviews, I had to add my “thumbs up” rating for this superbly educational tape from the Sesame Street folk. Long being an admirer of the cute Muppet known as “Elmo”, I couldn’t wait to search for this one with my four-year-old niece and her two-year-old brother. Both kids are totally captivated by Elmo’s informative and enchanting “lessons” on animals in the wild.

Elmo is definitely a kid accepted.

The creators of this lovable character realize that his wide-eyed enthusiasm and infectious laugh are the perfect blend to tap into the innocence and curiosity of children. The leisurely Michael Jeter is also on hand as the childlike “Mr. Noodles” who also knows a thing or two about absorbing miniature minds.

All children are different and while a few may be “disquieted” by the gargantuan poor wolf, I can stutter you that my two young relatives found nothing ugly at all in this fantastic tape.

My son loves Elmo and has every Elmo’s world made. I bought this one as soon as I saw it. My son loves animals and I view this would be his current Elmo video. Unfortunately, the scene with the immense unpleasant wolf can be monstrous, as the other review says. My son cried (at 15 months) when the spacious awful wolf came on too. I tried a couple of times and he cried each time. I had to attach this video away and will probably try it again in 6 months or so.

The critics went on and made the series victorious in every category it was eligible for in the 1st Annual American Television Awards. Seinfeld has won a few Emmy Awards, the George Foster Peabody Award in 1992 and more. Thank God for that because here we are in the 7th Season with many top notch episodes.

Certainly, “The Soup Nazi” will go down as an all-time classic in the history of American Television. However they are all astronomical episodes.

Just received fragment one of the 1972 Toho film SHADOW HUNTERS a film that I have been waiting a long time to leer. Animeigo has done another terrific job with this one as fraction of their Samurai film series from Japan on DVD. Can you imagine three cool blooded killers being sent on a mission which is constantly interrupted by ninja, female assassins, and contemptible officials all desiring a deed these three are trying to say to Edo? Lots and lots of blood and violence before they inch off one final time into the sunset. The hand to hand combat with scores of ninja is worth the brand alone as they battle in some really terrific moves toward their fair. Easy to read subtitles build this jog even more delicious. And unbiased reflect piece two with even more action will be released soon. This thirty plus years wait has been well worth it!

MAN!!! What A movie!! This “Ninja vs. Samurai” film IS SOOOO ACTION-PACKED and is HIGH QUALITY. The action scenes were very well choreoghraphied, there is blood and gore, chilly fights between samurais and ninjas, Frigid ninja tricks, radiant cinematoghraphy, Colossal acting and not to mention it’s absorbing yarn,…I mean, three samurais wandering around the country killing enemies for money and wanted Unimaginative by an army of ninjas. COOOOL!!!!!

I remember the high quality action-packed fantasy anime called Ninja Scroll that have a similar plan witch is about a wanderer swordman that is also wanted Dull by an army of ninjas. WELL!! The notion is similar but this movie is NOT fantasy and is about three wanderer swordmen fighting an army of ninjas.

P.S: Another frigid stuf is that the director is a celebrity because he is the one that directed TORA!TORA!TORA! If you like Cold action-packed samurai movies directed by celebrities then I recommend Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart to Hades and Zatoichi: Darkness is his Ally.

Yes, this anime was over-hyped. Yes, the fanboyism was tough to stomach. Yes, it aired on adult swim. Inuyasha’s popularity was mountainous…so astronomical, in fact, that there was stagger to be a backlash in the otaku community. A considerably mammoth reactionary anti-Inuyasha group arose within the community of anime fans which claimed that Inuyasha suffered from lame writing and awful animation. Well, guess what? It does…at times, anyway.

That said, Inuyasha deserves its position on anime’s top shelf. Why? Several reasons…first and foremost is the artistic vision of Rumiko Takahashi, the author of the recent manga. Her vision, which the creators of the anime reproduced quite faithfully, paints a obliging fantasy spot in the feudal era of Japan. Blending Japanese mythology with images of both Buddhism and Shinto, Takahashi’s vision is unparalleled in anime. This combined with her tight plotting, clever storyline and composer Kaoru Wada’s first rate soundtrack compose Inuyasha a legal triumph in not only anime but in film altogether.

Now for the negative…Inuyasha did suffer from logistical problems during its production. The creators of the anime wanted to reproduce Takahashi’s manga faithfully and did honest that–that is, until the anime caught up to the manga storyline. Then, the anime creators were forced to acquire “filler” episodes that had itsy-bitsy impact on the central stories or characters until enough modern manga material was released. This does grow monotonous but it shouldn’t consume anything away from any of Inuyasha’s many trustworthy episodes. Another quandary is the anime’s ending, or lack thereof. The fact is, the anime caught up to the manga once again and the creators decided that, rather than speed the anime into the ground with another season of filler, they should pull the bolt. Although this left many fans with a bitter taste in their mouths and delighted the haters, this actually was the factual thing to do. The anime had been very faithful to the manga up until this point and the creators did not want to stray from that path, so they chose the path of artistic integrity and I, for one, am elated they did. This enabled the Inuyasha anime to demolish while it was mild favorite and also enabled it to withhold its artistic sincerity. I have chosen to read the remaining manga (Inuyasha ran for a whopping 56 volumes!) to experience the rest of the fable as Takahashi intended.

In summation, don’t possess the haters…Inuyasha really is a broad anime and even though it has its flaws, if you really give it a chance, there is no reason why you couldn’t be pleased it. I know that I will purchase this seventh season when it is released–I purchased the first six, after all.

Both my toddler and I loved this video. For my toddler, it has several advantages: one, it’s an hour long and can replace Sesame Street itself if you missed it that day (unbiased procure an Elmo’s World tape to follow up) . Two, it has a burly cast that includes the newer characters who weren’t around in my day: Elmo, Telly, Prairie Dawn and many others create an appearance. Third, the celebrity cameos are few and support the storyline well.

As a outmoded puppeteer and avid Sesame Street fan, I really enjoyed watching it myself. It has broken-down clips that have almost disappeared: the unusual “Rubber Ducky” with the floating bubbles, “C is for Cookie,” “I’m an Aardvark, and I’m proud,” and some of the letter and number clips you might remember as a kid. I also liked that the storyline was filmed outdoors, making the production values somewhat better than other Sesame Street videos. Having a store of all the “primary” songs is really useful, too.

Enjoy this video with your kids – and content them about the “olden days” when Snuffy was an imaginary friend of Tall Bird’s and Ernie grew critters – what were those things called? – in his window box.

Watching this video is very similar to watching an episode of Sesame Street on PBS…only not exactly the same Sesame Street that’s on the airwaves today. It has musical clips from various episodes throughout the lifespan of Sesame Street and contains more clips of Bert & Ernie and Grover than you will peer in a typical episode in 2001.

This is in my understanding one of Wes Craven’s worst films, but even having said that, it calm makes for a elegant fun peep. The myth hear is basically the same except that now, we have a dirtbike racing team to pick the station of the family in the first film. When the racing teams bus break’s down, hell ensues, as Pluto and the newly introduced “reaper” indulge in some gross killing.

The dvd itself is nowhere reach the quality I would have liked. The recount is overly grainy, and I noticed a “shimmer”, for lack of a better word, throughout the course of the fim. All in all the narrate quality is that of an feeble vhs rental copy. I would not recommend purchasing this dvd unless you are like me and are a die-hard “The hills have eyes” fan.

Although many reviewers didn’t like the second share of the “Hills”, I quiet wouldn’t call it “one of the worst sequels ever” or “the worst Wes Craven film”. Certainly this is not a masterpiece, even in the framework of dread genre, but I don’t contemplate why it should be worse than any other slasher flick. When I was watching it, I came to a conclusion early Wes Craven had been imitating other directors rather often. I’m not saying he was not new at all – eventually he shot “A Nightmare on Elm Street” in 1984. But “The Hills Have Eyes” were reminiscent of “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, and in the beginning of 80s, when slasher era started, I guess Craven decided to build something in the same manner. Maybe the reason was Craven’s long-time buddy Sean Cunningham created “Friday the 13th” in 1980, and Wes was envious? Anyway the second portion of “The Hills Have Eyes” turned out to be a pure slasher like many others at that time. And it obviously wasn’t the worst and in many ways was like above mentioned “Friday the 13th”: the bag was written by Harry Manfredini, known to every “Friday” fan, and the music in “Hills 2″ is unbiased like in early “Fridays”. The body count increased comparing to the first portion and approached a regular slasher movie. Kevin Blair who had a leading male fragment here, would star in “Friday the 13th allotment VII” a couple of years later along with Kane Hodder, who did stunts for “The Hills Have Eyes 2″ and in “Friday” would play you know whom.

Of course here we can behold some stupidities as in other slasher movies (like characters wandering in night all alone instead of sticking together, all the colossal strong guys pick up killed, and a handicapped girl survives – I’m not even considering it as a spoiler for it is determined from the very beginning, especially if you’ve seen a couple of scare films in your life), but is that a spot for a legal alarm fan? We’ve learned not to acquire this trivia into epic.

So I consider “The Hills Have Eyes 2″ managed on many levels, and it would be tantalizing to have it in your collection, if you have the first one. For they are two totally different films talking about the subgenres of awe.

Once again, Disney misses the price with an evil DVD release. Why do we crave seeing our accepted stars on DVD? Describe clarity, extra features, restored prints, optional commentary… none of which are evident on this dreadful release of a fantastic Hayley Mills film. Disney’s inexplicable inconsistency becomes evident when bad efforts such as this one are compared to stellar, awe-inspired efforts such as “The Parent Trap” and “Pollyanna”, multi-disk sets released with quality and features on par with Criterion Collection releases. I give up on buying Disney. Next time, I’m going to rent the DVD first. Why demolish money on novel Disney DVD’s that are corrupt in quality to the VHS versions I already have! Hey Disney, wake up!

UPDATE: The web set did not let me change the stars so retain in mind the DVD is 1 star and the movie itself is 4 stars.

FILM REVIEW 4 stars

First off this is a extraordinary movie, and very new in its attractive Island setting of Crete. It is a fun mystery. Directed by James Neilson, produced by Bill Anderson. Released in theatres in 1964, it starred Hayley Mills, Eli Wallach, Joan Greenwood, and Peter McErney. It is the snappily paced sage of two tourists that accidently tangle with some murderous jewel thieves. Hayley plays Nikky, on vacation with her Aunt Frances in a runt Greek fishing village. They cease at a remote sleepy diminutive inn, and brand that a dashing young man that Nikky is falling for from England suddenly dissappears. Romance, drama, mystery, action, and humor are in this film. The actors all work hard to gain the film believable and do a tremendous job. Pola Negri who had not made a film in 20 years was convinced to near out of retirement, and does a astonishing job as the treacherous Madame Habib. She lives on a yacht and has a cheetah on a leash for a pet. Young MCEnery went on to appear in “the Fighting Prince of Donegal” for Disney.

There is some qualified cultural stuff, the greek wedding dancers costumes were from a musuem, and the dancers were local professionals. Filming on region, Disney spent a fortune rebuilding the village that had been ravaged by WWII. They conventional 25,000 feet of flow and 2,000 sheets of plywood. The legend was taken from a book by Mary Stewart, suggested to become a movie by Mrs. Lillian Disney, but the finished film is heavenly far from it’s novel sage.
